Inside Smarts Premium Delicates Laundry Bags Review

  Laundry. Bleh. I hate doing laundry. I've been doing laundry my entire life and it looks like I'll be doing my own laundry for the rest of my life because I'm still not a millionaire. Jkjk. For the first time in my life I was excited to do my laundry though!

     I received the Inside Smarts Premium Delicates Laundry Bags and I could not wait to try them out! I was actually anticipating laundry day. lol. Weird, I know.

     I've always had laundry as one of my chores. As long as I can remember I've been folding laundry. Growing up we never had a laundry bag though. We just washed our delicates separately. It wasn't until two years ago that I noticed my delicates were getting hammered and I needed to do something about it. Back then we had a top-loader with the spinning center. Every laundry day was tragic. My lingerie was always getting snagged, my lacy VS panties were getting frayed, my bras were tangling and twisting themselves into knots with every piece of laundry in the machine, and my fancy clothes were being contorted in all sorts of horrible ways. It was dreadful. I had to save my clothes! Mostly because I couldn't afford to replace everything.

     I went to the local store and they had two options available. Each one only came with one bag and they weren't very big. I ended up getting the Woolite bag that had four compartments. It was $4.16 and seemed like the best option available. At first it was great to use, but then it became a nuisance. Because of the compartment separators only small items could fit into the bag. It's great if all you have is panties and bras. My sweaters, maxi skirts, and my daughter's princess dresses do not fit in it though.

     And even when you do put multiple items in the bag there's not enough room for them to move around. I don't think that they get very clean because they're all wadded up. And if your items do move around they end up all in one compartment. Or half of it slides into the top compartment and the rest falls into the bottom compartment and it turns into a pair of numchucks in your washer and gets tangled around all of your laundry. The BIGGEST problem with it is that there is only one bag. If you have a load of whites going into the dryer then you can't use it for your black sweater in the wash. You would need to buy multiple bags unless you want laundry day to turn into a week long process. 

     Inside Smarts thought of these problems though. When I received my laundry bags I soon realized how much better these were than the ones I had purchased at the grocery store. You get four, yes 4!, laundry bags. There are two large and two medium bags. In each size you get a black and a white bag. There is enough room in each bag for your items to move around and truly get cleaned. And the bags are big enough that they will comfortably fit any of your larger delicates. And you have enough bags that you can have two bags going in each load. And they have an even bigger perk that I didn't even realize could be a problem. They have a cover for the zipper! It prevents it from ever snagging any of your clothing not in a protective bag. The elastic zipper pocket also protects your washer from getting banged up.  Smart thinking! The zipper isn't a cheap piece of plastic that is going to break after one use, and it's rust-proof!

   Normally, I am a pretty cheap person, but from now on I'll be sure to make a small investment to protect my much larger investment - my clothes! But when you do the math, you're actually only paying $0.08 cents more per bag. And they are twice the size of the other bag and better quality! So, I actually overpaid the first time. Ouch! P.s. If you purchase them now they are a dollar cheaper on Amazon and qualify for free shipping with a Prime Membership! So, if you calculate time and gasoline I REALLY overpaid for my Woolite laundry bag which I thought was cheap at the time. Dang! So if you need to get someone a nice useful house-warming gift or wedding present this is definitely the way to go! They will NEED these for all the laundry they will be doing, and all of the "delicates" they'll be washing if it's for a wedding present. And they will love you for getting them something they actually need and not something tacky they'll have to return. Or heck! buy it as a gift and have it sent anonymously to your hubby! Hahahaha!

Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts Review

     The past couple of weeks have been EXTREMELY stressful. Technically, the past year has been, but we won't get into that. But I have really been feeling miserable lately. And today I relieved quite a bit of stress while cleaning my house. But trying to take care of a 2 month old with colic and a nearly 3 year old adds a little stress to my relaxation process. lol.
     When it came time to get ready for bed I decided I needed a shower. I figured since I had accomplished so much today and was quite perturbed with my lovely husband I decided I deserved a treat - a BATH!!! Then I remembered I had a special little something I've been waiting to try, Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts.
     I am a huge fan of detox and relaxation baths. I usually use Epson Salt and oils. So, I set the scene. I lit a candle in one of my favorite scents, dimmed the lights, drew a hot steaming bath, poured in the salts, and turned on my Pandora. I had put the baby to bed already and figured my hubby could handle our 2 year old.

     When I opened the salts I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Without even thinking, I tried to smell the salts and realized these are pure and do not have any added color, fragrance, or additives. And the best part is the bag is resealable and so you don't have to worry about anything happening to your precious salts until you take your next bath.
     I knew I couldn't be in the tub forever so I listened to about two songs and then decided I wanted to use my Exfolimate again. OhMyWord! This thing is amazing. Check out my other post to learn more about it - HERE.
     I instantly noticed a huge difference between the Epson Salt and the Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts. Normally when I hop into the bath I have to gently lower myself because it feels as if I am lowering myself onto shards of glass. When I entered the tub this time there was nothing there. The Adovia Salt is fine grain and so it dissolves much faster.
    I also noticed that my exfoliator seemed to work even better in the salt bath. Little did I know that these salts help to exfoliate your skin.
     When I got out of the tub I was kind of expecting my skin to shrivel up and turn into powder from soaking in salt. But it didn't. Before I could even apply lotion to prevent my skin drying out I was interrupted by a rapping at the door. I opened it to find my little girl standing there. Apparently my husband had decided to turn on the television for our daughter and head to bed. Grrr. So, I had to stop my pre-bed prep to get my daughter ready for bed. How could he let her stay up til 11pm unsupervised while he sleeps? Lucky for him I had just de-stressed or else I might have flipped him off the bed. jkjk. My point is that during this whole process I didn't dry out! My skin always starts to parch the second I get out of the shower. I am still sore, don't get me wrong, but I can stretch just a little bit further now.
     I don't know if I can ever go back to Epson Salt now. I think I am sold for life on these Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts!
